What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to the website operators. This cookie policy explains which cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Essential Cookies
Essential cookies are required for the basic functionality of this website. They cannot be disabled without affecting how the site works.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
mlg_consent | Stores your cookie consent preference so we do not ask you again on every visit. | Persistent |
Analytics Cookies
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use our website. They collect information in an aggregated, anonymous form. These cookies are only set if you accept them via the consent banner. No analytics cookies are currently set on this website — the table below describes the cookies that would be used if analytics is enabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics — distinguishes unique users. | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics 4 — maintains session state. | 2 years |
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is not currently active on this website. If we enable it, we will use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to analyse website traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics processes data on servers that may be located outside the European Economic Area. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
When enabled, Google Analytics collects:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page.
- How you arrived at the website (referral source).
- Your general geographic location (country/city level).
- Browser type, device type, and screen resolution.
IP anonymisation would be enabled, meaning your full IP address is never stored by Google Analytics.
Consent Banner
When you first visit our website, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the screen. You have two choices:
- Accept: Analytics cookies may be set and, once Google Analytics is enabled, it will begin collecting usage data.
- Reject: No analytics cookies will be set. Only the essential consent cookie is stored to remember your choice.
Your choice is saved locally on your device. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the website.
Cookie Management
You can control and manage cookies in several ways:
- Consent banner: Use the cookie consent banner on your first visit to accept or reject analytics cookies.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect website functionality.
- Google opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data across all websites.
